Claudia and I have taken on a new job! We are now the Camp Hosts, actually one of four hosts, at San Elijo State Beach, about two miles south of home. We came into the park today and are all set up and ready to go. Our first shift is Wednesday morning. We work the morning shift on Wednesdays and the evening shifts on Thursdays and Fridays plus a half shift every other Saturday. We are off duty from Sunday to Tuesday. We have committed to the job for September and October and hope to return to either San Elijo or South Carlsbad State Beach for July and August. We are in Camp Host Site #110 if anyone wants to come by for a look-see, a beverage or a day at the beach.
